Pelvic Physical Therapy

Two Options For treatment: In-home or In-clinic

Concierge, One-on-one Appointments

What does that mean? It means I come to you! No having to drive across town, no having to get someone to watch your kids. You get to stay in the comfort of your home and get personalized treatment.

As a stay-at-home-home mom and working-at-home-mom we know how hard it can be to find a sitter. At She Blooms Physical Therapy your kids are welcome to be present throughout the treatment.

After booking your appointment you will receive a welcome email with detailed information about what to expect during the first visit, what you may need to do to prepare, and a link to fill out all the intake paperwork electronically ahead of time.

At your initial appointment we’ll take the time to get to know you - your medical history, lifestyle, and goals. Then we’ll go through a thorough evaluation looking at the function of your muscles, connective tissue/fascia, and nerves throughout your body, but focusing on the core which includes the pelvic floor, abdominals, low back, and diaphragm.

For the majority of our patients, we recommend an internal vaginal exam as part of the evaluation; however, you are always allowed to request an external evaluation, decline, or interrupt the exam at any time. We do not use stirrups or a speculum as a part of the exam. We also do not perform an internal exam if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, if you are on pelvic rest, or if your bag of waters has opened.

We will discuss the findings as we go along ending with a comprehensive explanation, physical therapy diagnosis, and plan to address any dysfunctions and/or pain found so you are able to continue to work towards your goals outside of the therapy session.

**She Blooms PT is a fee-for-service/cash-based clinic, meaning that we do not contract with any insurance providers and payment is collected at the time of service (cash, credit card, flexible savings accounts and health savings accounts). After each session if you request it you can receive an itemized bill if you are interested in reimbursement and you can independently submit it to your insurance company.

If you are interested in knowing your potential level of reimbursement for our services, please call your insurance provider and inquire about their coverage for “out of network physical therapy,” as well as any applicable deductibles.
